This policy explains how Mailburger handles personal data. It covers two groups of people: customers who use Mailburger to send email, and contacts, the people on our customers' lists.

Customers

When you create an account we process your name, email address, login and security details (such as two-factor settings), the workspaces you belong to, billing information and how you use the product. We use it to provide the service, keep it secure, support you and meet legal obligations.

Contacts

Our customers upload and collect contact data and decide how it is used. For that data we act as a processor on their behalf, under our data processing agreement. If you are on a customer's list, contact that sender to access, change or delete your data; every email includes an unsubscribe link.

To deliver and measure email we process contact email addresses, any fields the customer stores, and engagement data such as deliveries, opens and clicks.

Subprocessors

We use these providers to run the service:

Subprocessor Purpose Location
Mailman Email delivery, bounce and engagement tracking —

AI providers only receive data when a customer uses an AI feature, and contact data is not used to train models.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and delete it after closure, except where the law requires us to keep records. Customers can export or erase individual contacts at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority ([to be completed: LEGAL_SUPERVISORY_AUTHORITY]). Account holders can download their data from Settings → Profile.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above.
